Fertilizer Import & Export permit

PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR IMPORTATION & EXPORTATION OF FERTILIZER OR FERTILIZER SUPPLEMENTS

 1. IMPORTATION

  1. Clearly and neatly fill two copies of form no. 16
  2. The completed well filled forms should be accompanied by the following documents
    • Importation fee equivalent to 1.2% of Costs,
    • Insurance and Freights (CIF) as provided in Fertilizer (Amendments) Regulations, 2017.
    • Commercial invoice
    • Certificate of conformity or certificate of quality/certificate of analysis
    • Bill of lading
  3. Submit the completed filled forms and all attachments to obtain your import permit.

2. EXPORTATION

  1. Clearly and neatly fill two copies of form no. 19
  2. The completed well filled forms should be accompanied by the following documents
    • Export fee which is 0.2 USD/ton
    • Commercial invoice
    • Import permit from the country of export
  3. Submit the completed filled forms and all attachments to obtain your export permit.

Note: All payments should be made to TFRA Bank account through government e-payment gateway (GePG)

          Permit will be issued to the company which fertilizer licensing is valid
